In a forum someone asked for suggestions about what they should do while visiting Minneapolis. A few of the suggested activities:

Bitchslap Al Franken
Get gay married
Disrespect Prince’s couch or eat his pancakes (apparently you cannot do both)
Drive to the airport and get on a plan to a warmer less depressing place

I’ve lived here for months and haven’t done any of those things. I don’t know what I’ve been waiting for.

Sometimes you’re up in the middle of the night and it feels like the walls of life are silently crashing down around you. And sometimes, if you look close enough, you can see glimmers of hope beyond the rubble. And as small and insignificant as those bits of hope might feel, you grab onto them.
